Influential Books I have Read re: Diet and Healthy Living
This is not my usual post but I want to spread the word about the books that have really influenced me re: diet and healthy eating.
WHEAT BELLY by WILLIAM DAVIS, MD
The first inspiring book I read was Wheat Belly by William Davis, MD. It described my situation/circumstances at the time so exactly. I had already begun tochange my diet but this book really explained the minutiae. I have lent this book to several people and they all agree that it explains so many things that are bothering them. Strangely enough though several people have decided they will continue with their daily diet and just live with the issues.
ANTICANCER by DAVID SERVAN SCHRIEBER
This book, written by a doctor who was diagnosed with brain cancer and who has beaten it twice, is written in laymen’s language and shows how with certain kinds of foods and, by default, avoidance of other kinds of foods, one can lessen/slow down/prevent the growth of certain kinds of cancer.
MAYO CLINIC – GOING GLUTEN FREE – ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO MANAGING CELIAC DISEASE AND RELATED CONDITIONS – JOSEPH A. MURRAY
Book is a complete guide to gluten-free living (and describes various types/degrees of gluten issues).
I shall be adding to this page in the future as I read more books referring to healthy diets.
